The Lot Expiry Dashboard shows every lot in your warehouse sorted by how soon it expires — Today, Next Week, Next Month, Next Quarter. Automated alerts. FEFO pick lists triggered automatically.
The dashboard tabs are exactly as built into Fast WMS. Click any tab to instantly filter the full lot list to that time window — with lot number, bin location, production date, expiry date, and quantity.
The Lot Expiry Dashboard is the middle layer connecting inbound barcode scanning to outbound FEFO dispatch — one continuous loop with no manual tracking.
The dashboard layout is exactly as it runs in Fast WMS: nine time-band tabs across the top, with a filterable table of lot numbers, locations, quantities, production dates, and expiry dates. One click shows you all stock expiring in a given period.
Shelf life is configured per item in the Item Master (e.g. 120 days). Fast WMS automatically raises an alert when a lot enters the critical window — giving supervisors time to push it through a pick list, reduce price, or quarantine before it becomes a write-off.
The Lot Expiry Dashboard and the FEFO pick list engine share the same expiry data. When you see a lot in the "Today" or "Next Week" tab, that lot is already ranked first in any FEFO pick list for that item — no manual override required.
Beyond expiry tracking, Fast WMS surfaces stock that hasn't moved in a configurable number of days. The Non-Moving Stock Report and Slow-Moving Report show items sitting idle — before they become obsolete write-offs alongside expiry losses.
All Previous, Today, Tomorrow, Next Week, Next Month, Next Quarter, Next Six Months, Next Year — filter expiring stock in one click per window.
Alerts fire when lots enter the critical window — configured per item in Item Master. Email and SMS notification to supervisors.
Expiry and production dates captured automatically when staff scan item barcodes during inbound — no separate data entry step.
Expiry data feeds directly into FEFO pick list ordering. Nearest-expiry lot is always dispatched first — enforced at barcode scan, not just printed order.
Identify stock that hasn't moved in a configurable period — storage location wise, item wise. Prevents obsolete inventory building up alongside expiry losses.
See current inventory value by item — item code, description, UOM, stock quantity, rate, and total amount. Full financial visibility alongside expiry risk.
